ABOUT THE PROGRAMME

ACES is a mentoring programme that provides support children aged 11 to 12-years old in their transitional years from childhood to adolescence. The programme hopes to provide children with positive adult role models, a safe environment that fosters healthy peer interactions and academic support from volunteers. We aim to develop confident youths who display strength and resilience when faced with life’s challenges.

Children from low-income families often lack sufficient educational resources and guidance. ACES Tuition programme aims to plug the gap by providing academic support for Primary 1 to Primary 6 children from the families we serve. With intentional coaching, we hope to increase the academic competence of these children and eventually, boost their motivation and confidence in their studies.

Mdm Suhana, mother of ACES programme participant

I am happy and grateful for the tuition that they received. I would say that they have shown improvement in their Maths. It has been a pleasant experience liaising with the tutors regarding the academic progress of my child. The online learning platform, Koobits, was helpful in supporting my child’s learning.
