Generation412 is a mentoring youth programme that seeks to empower our youths to become positive role models through building resilience, fortitude, and values.
This programme helped me make more friends and I also invited my friends and made me closer to them. I also had a lot of fun attending the programme and I look forward to attending more in the future. I learnt that we should work together and not judge others.
Ms Khim Lim is the Senior Financial Services Director at Infinity Financial Advisory Pte Ltd. With over two decades of experience in personal financial services and business insurance fields, Ms Lim has amassed a track record of personal accolades while contributing towards financial product design and process improvements for industry stakeholders. She also volunteers actively with MoneySense and the Association of Financial Advisers(S). Ms. Lim is an ardent advocate for advancing public education within the industry. With a wealth of expertise and insightful perspectives of the industry, Ms. Lim has been featured in numerous media outlets and is a highly sought-after speaker at public seminars. Ms Lim holds a B Bus (Hons) in Hospitality and Tourism from the Nanyang Technological University of Singapore.
Mr Ng Kwee Ming is a seasoned career banker who retired in 2019 after a successful tenure with United Overseas Bank Ltd. With extensive regional experience in finance and banking, he demonstrated exceptional leadership in sales for corporates, with a particular focus on the Small and Medium Enterprise (SME) sector in key ASEAN markets and branches in Greater China. Mr Ng is driven by his passion for growth and embraces technology to enhance financial markets’ products and processes, boasting a remarkable track record of project deliverables. His key career highlights include spearheading significant projects such as Treasury Reengineering and the development of an Online Foreign Exchange system.
Mr David Pong is the Co-Founder and CEO of Wateroam, a social enterprise that designs and builds innovative water filters to provide safe drinking water in rural and disaster-hit regions. Since 2014, he has led the team to deploy their solutions across 43 countries by working closely with NGOs, corporates and governments to reach out to such underserved communities. Mr Pong also has a passion for nurturing the next generation of social entrepreneurs across ASEAN. He is regularly invited to speak at events, conduct training and provide mentorship to young budding innovators. As a recognition of his dedication and service to the community, Mr Pong was conferred the Citizen Ambassador Award from the Singapore International Foundation in 2021 and the National University of Singapore (NUS) Outstanding Young Alumni Award in 2019. David holds a Bachelor in Business Administration with Honours from the National University of Singapore.
Mr Aaron Teo has been volunteering as a Director in RiverLife Community Services for past 10 years before taking on the role as an Executive Director. Prior to his commitment to RCS, Mr. Teo led a successful electronics manufacturing business for 25 years. Mr Teo’s life’s mission is to instill and foster good values within the community. Through his work with RCS, Mr. Teo has tirelessly served needy families, extended a helping hand and created transformative change. Looking ahead, Mr. Teo’s vision is to cultivate a team of new-generation leaders who will carry the torch of RCS forward, propelling it to new heights of success and impact. Mr Teo holds a Master of Business Administration from University of Leicester.
